“AMERICA’S NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME”
The Huntingdon Borough Police Department is asking for residents, businesses, churches, organizations and clubs in assisting in the organization of Huntingdon Borough’s first National Night Out.
On Tuesday, August 1st, neighborhoods throughout Huntingdon Borough are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “34th Annual National Night Out” (NNO) crime and drug prevention event.
National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for and participate in, local anti-crime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Any interested parties are asked to contact Cpl. Charles T. Streightiff of the Huntingdon Borough Police Department at email@example.com.
A planning meeting will be scheduled in the near future.
