With the holiday season fast approaching, we’re gearing up for our 3rd Annual Parking Meter Decorating Contest!

To disguise the parking meters for free parking during the season, we’re covering them up with fun and festive decorations done by local businesses, community organizations, school groups and residents!

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places with winners announced Monday, December 23 via the Discover Downtown Huntingdon Facebook page.

We’re encouraging our local community to get in on the fun by strolling the 400, 500, 600 and 700 blocks of Washington Street to see the meters and then vote for your favorites at https://forms.gle/k6wktF197qB8srxn8 beginning Friday, November 29 through Saturday, December 21.
