The Huntingdon Borough Police Department, together with Huntingdon County Children’s Services, works under the Multi-Disciplinary Team approach on cases of crimes against children. Both agencies work together as a team to provide the best outcome for all involved in these cases. The work done, and continuing to be done, by this team has gained attention and recognition on local, state, and national levels.
Three officers from the Huntingdon Borough Police Department have attended training at the National Children’s Advocacy Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where they received instruction in Forensic Interviewing of Children.
